2005 Up date: Casper’s new cd Honor The People   Sings it as it should be must be told. From Last Train to Rez Dub  He is letting the  world know that change is coming and there is no room for Babylon

"I first heard of Casper Loma-da-wa in the Indian Country Today (ICT) newspaper a few years ago. I went to his web site and downloaded the songs he had for mp3 downloading. Then I order his two CDs for more music. His music has what’s been lacking in most of today’s mass media music Truth.

This year the ICT let it be know that anybody could vote in the Native American Music Awards known as the NAMMYS (www.nammys.com). Anybody could Vote. So that is what I did, and there in the World Music Class was Casper's name. I felt over come with joy. Finally someone who I like gets the recognition and honor they deserve. And my vote counted! Not like the last USA presidential one." buddy@bluemooncruz.com

Jim Boyd

Jim Boyd has a style of his own, playing mostly the acoustic guitar and vocals, and having the Rez Bound Band as back up. The meaning and feeling of his songs are more Reggae then the tempo and beat of the music. Songs like "Unity" and "Let the Colors Fly" are songs of hope and happiness. While the song " Where's Your Honor Mr. Gorton" asks Washington State Senator Slay Gorton about his honor to American Indians, which the Senator did not answer. But the people heard and answered by not reelecting him. When Jim Boyd and Rez Bound play at the free concert at Riverside Park for the City of Spokane, you can see Indian Pride in the faces of the Indian people in the crowd. And when they play "No Woman No Cry” you can feel the inner peace of the people that crosses all the different races of folks that came for free music.
